| don't you hate it when you wake up wide awake at crazy hours during the night!! its now 4:12AM on tuesday morning, and i wish i could be sleeping cause i have a busy day ahead!! oh well.....went to a conference in missouri at the international house of prayer in kansas city. it was a prophetic conference. my pastor wanted to bless several of the staff with an all expense paid trip to this conference as first a blessing and second as a learning experience. both are found to be true! my defination of prophesy has been completly redefined, and i just have grown more in love with my Maker as a result. we also had a neat time where our pastor set us up a time of prophetic ministry, which is where several people whom you don't know, prophesy over you....kinda cool how God speaks sometimes!! well, the ones i received where all very encourging, and exactly what i needed to hear pertaining to that which i've been dealing with......several where just using the gifts God has given me effectively and fearlessly. Also, to embrace this time that i have now as a time to get ready for my Husband at The Wedding Day. also being a Lovesick Warrior for the Lord, and that i was a female Barnabas (a pretty cool encourager found in Acts).....all in all it was a good eye opening experience to the different ways that the Lord speaks to and through us another big change that has occured, is that my position at the nursing home as changed so that i will now be able to work at CCSA as the youth intern more....i'm now a PRN nurse aide, which means i work "as necessary" so i will just be covering different shifts as i choose and just be paid for those hours i work.....huge blessing!! i'm considering quitting it completly, but won't make that choice until school starts...... 2 roadtrips planned in the next week....taking the youth to Colorado Bend State Park this coming friday and saturday, then sunday i leave for colorado for a few days of expected R&R before school starts the following monday!!!! God is good, yes all the time, He is good! have a blessed day my friends | | |
| i love to hear it thunder as i lay in my bed....just one of my favorite things! took a roadtrip to Seattle washington a week ago, to see the older brother. He was stationed up there with the Army doing his first round of training, then monday he goes to Georgia for round number 2. lets see, tomorrow starts vbs at our church, spend a couple of hours up there this morning helping out. Fun stuff! we have a cowboy/country theme which is right up my alley! i also have been asked to come on staff at CCSA as the youth intern throughout the school year! this is a huge blessing, as i have been trying to juggle working at the nursing home, school, and work at the church. So, i put in my two weeks notice at the nursing home....kinda hard to do, but i feel really good about it! going to see hairspray tonight! | | |
| freedom!!!! for some reason when i say that word, i always think of Mel Gibson in Braveheart....haha... on a more personal note, that word has been ringing in my ears for about 2 weeks now. one day, i just has this feeling the whole day, that i really was not living in true freedom, but i had no idea what was holding me in bondage....since then several things have been reveled, to which soon i hope i shall be free from. my life right now, is still revolving around a group of amazing kiddos who i love being around. yesterday we took a group of junior high to the soup kitchen and served around 180 people. I was so proud of our kids as they cooked, cleaned, and served....there were a few moments of insanity, but the day was great. how about all this rain!!! Zack has been talking about the rain for awhile now, just at random moments, and for him, the rain is a symbol of Gods spirit raining down to the earth, and with all the rain, i've been thinking about it as well. i really think that san angelo is in a prime place for God's spirit to really rain down and bring revival to our town if only our people would pray and seek the Lord. we are hopefully leaving sunday for our junior high camp in brownwood with cody jones and micah mariano bringing the Word...super excited!! there is a chance that the camp may close though if it won't stop raining....but hopefully all will go according to plan. at our high school camp a few weeks ago, it rained 3 days straight, and it did not have any impact on us....we just played more in the water and mud and had a blast! love you | | |
| yo yo..... so life is great. really. My God is showing me more and more of His love, peace, and joy. Having my hope in Him has been such a rewarding stretch and blessing....alot of growth has been taking place i think been busy being an intern...lots of paperwork, phone calls, writing letters, and spending time with kiddos....i'm loving it. being apart of someone's life is truly an honor and blessing, and alot of responsibility as well. when all the graduations where going on, i couldn't help but think of how proud of am to be apart of their lives, i'm sure not as proud as the parents, but yet still proud..... heading to high school camp on friday in glen rose with kevin kirkland and ornan's floor. shall be great i'm sure! lots of dreams and goals for the summer.....just random things...... right now for once in a long time i'm really happy just being.....me Ecclesiastes 5:18-20 | | |
| summer fun!! it feels so good......no books, less stress, able to take naps, and do what Georgia whats = amazing.....oh did i mention that "A" is the letter that not begins the word anatomy, but it also stands for the amazing letter grade that i kicked my butt to receive!!!! i was and still am stinkin excited about that one. God blessed my hard work, and with that grade, it hopefully will open up a lot of doors when applying for nursing school in a year. i'm also the youth intern at CCSA once again, and we're gearin up for another crazy busy summer....this one will be more busy, as i have more expectations and job details, but i'm lovin staying busy. currently reading one of the books off of my long summer reading list.... Praise Habits by David Crowder. a must read fo shizzle. crowder is good, but very random. i've really enjoyed it. also, i like to read a lot of biographys, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know...... been hitting alot of the graduations---walls 8th grade, ozona's is tonight, my brothers (austin), will go to central....so stayin busy. i love you guys, ya'll are a blessing, and i hope that i see each of you at least once this summer ! | | |
